Not as good as Wolf Hall. Way too repetitive, both within this book and from Wolf Hall. That said, Thomas Cromwell is a great character. Unscrupulously scrupulous, droll, dry, pragmatic and a survivor (so far), his voice is clear from the first pages of Wolf Hall and continues through Bring Up The Bodies. Simon Slater, the narrator of Wolf Hall, has a greater range of voices compared to Simon Vance, but Vance does a reasonable job, and I got used to him in the end. I will listen to the third in this series, as I am keen to discover how such a clever man as Cromwell was finally brought undone.
