An interesting concept. John Green and David Levitan – two giants of young adult fiction – each create a character called Will Grayson. John Green’s Will Grayson is a typical young man who is figuring out just how much he should invest in life. How much should you care? Is it all worth it? And should you let your gay best friend write a musical about you? Meanwhile, David Levitan’s Will Grayson is in denial about his homosexuality, which he is hiding behind a girl called Maura, whilst chatting to Isaac online. This Will Grayson has real problems – and they are about to come to a head.
Eventually the two Will Grayson’s meet – and share problems. And Tiny Cooper – the gay best friend who steals the show (or in this case, book).
